I’m Adam
I was born and raised in Bahrain to an American mother and Egyptian father. My early life unfolded at the crossroads of cultures, languages, and histories. Growing up in a Department of Defense school alongside peers from more than fifty nationalities, I was immersed in a global perspective from the beginning. Travel through Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas shaped my imagination and deepened my curiosity about human nature, history, and the unseen psychological forces that shape our lives.
When I moved to the United States for college in 2001, the cultural and societal shifts forced me into an identity reckoning. Who was I outside of context? Outside of geography? Outside of expectation? What began as cultural disorientation became the first invitation toward depth—the beginning of a lifelong inquiry into belonging, masculinity, grief, and integration.
My professional life spanned finance, international sales, and technology. Each transition sharpened my understanding of systems—economic, organizational, interpersonal. Yet beneath outward success, something remained unresolved.
For nearly three decades, my inner life was governed by forces I did not understand: unconscious aggression, fractured relationships, and a nervous system shaped by childhood violence, peer bullying, and the sudden death of my father when I was twelve. What I lacked was not intelligence or drive. I lacked initiation—a way to metabolize grief and survival energy into something life-giving rather than destructive.
At forty, I entered what can only be described as a dark night of the soul. The strategies that had carried me—achievement, willpower, spiritual striving—collapsed. And in that collapse, I began the real work.
The Descent
My healing journey unfolded through Jungian depth psychology, active imagination, EMDR therapy (a modality I once searched for in desperation), Internal Family Systems, written exposure therapy, somatic work, yoga, tai-chi, breathwork, meditation, nervous system regulation, dreamwork, plant medicine, and carefully held psychedelic-assisted therapies including ketamine, and MDMA work.
These were not escapes from pain. They were containers. In those containers, aggression softened into protection. Grief deepened into compassion. Fear reorganized into grounded presence.
I learned that the shadow is not pathology—it is unlived life. And when met consciously, it becomes authority.
Turning Toward the Shadow
Integration, Brotherhood & Fatherhood
As integration took root, something unexpected happened: my relationships healed. I learned how to stay present instead of reactive.
Intimate instead of armored.
Friendships stabilized. Partnership became safe. And eventually, the most sobering initiation of all arrived—becoming a father without the terror of repeating what I inherited.
Fatherhood did not erase my past. It consecrated the work. It demanded embodiment.
Today, I work primarily with men—especially those navigating multicultural identity, inherited trauma, anger, emotional shutdown, or relational volatility. Many of the men I serve are thoughtful, high-functioning, and deeply self-aware. What they sense is not brokenness—but unintegrated life force.
My coaching is not about fixing you. It is not about medicating or transcending your darker parts. It is about earning authority over your inner world so that your power no longer leaks through reactivity, addiction, withdrawal, or self-sabotage.
Drawing from Jungian depth psychology, somatic integration, archetypal work, and ancient contemplative practices, I offer depth, containment, and a lived map of transformation. My work bridges ancient wisdom and modern psychological insight, guiding men toward individuation—the process of becoming whole.
True belonging is not something we find externally. It is something we build internally through integration.
If you are ready to turn toward what you have spent years avoiding,
If you sense that your anger holds intelligence,
If you want your masculinity to feel conscious rather than inherited,
Then this work may be for you.
I do not offer quick answers.
I offer depth.
I offer initiation.
I offer the long road home to yourself.
